The world-famous "Wave" sandstone formation from the Coyote Buttes area of northern Arizona. This geographic landmark feature is one of the most beautifully unique settings in the Southwest. A true testament to the power of "Mother Nature" and "Father Time". This area is very remote (a six-mile round trip walk) and is accessible by "hard-to-get" permits only. Only 20 hikers are allowed to see this special place per day, with permits gained either by Internet or walk-in lottery.
