Aspens in the Wasatch Wins Taylorsville Art Show Award Back

Mar 30, 2019

Artwestimage.com owner Greg Nelson's Aspens in the Wasatch - Pine Canyon took third overall in the photography division at the Taylorsville Art Show held on March 29-30.  The juried show, sponsored by the Taylorsville, Utah, Community Arts Council, featured over 280 pieces of art created by local Utah artists.  This recent addition to the Wild About Utah gallery on artwestimage.com was photographed in October of 2018 and added to the site in mid-November.  Two other pieces chosen for display in the show, Zion Garden and Abbey's Ring of Stone were also well received by the judging committee and show attendees alike.  "It was a nice surprise", quoted Mr. Nelson. "Personally, I thought Ring of Stone got the most attention from the gallery attendees I observed.  You don't always know what judges are looking for, but I won't complain.  There was a lot of nice photography on display at this show.  I feel privileged to have had a landscape recognized in a show of this quality."
