  • Description:  The 60-room Kodak House, on Wetherill Mesa, is closed to the public, but can be viewed from a rim top viewing area. The ruin was was named for Swedish researcher, Gustof Nordenskjiold, who rather than carry his heavy camera back and forth to the rim during exploration, stored his camera in one of the rooms in 1891. Kodak House has six kivas and house about 40 inhabitants beginning in the early 1200s.
