- Title: Katherine's Angel
- Description: Solomon and Catherine Noel were married in April of 1865 and he became a prominent farmer in the Virginia City area. Catherine died of diabetes in 1895 and Solomon died in 1896 of heart failure. The two were buried in a plot that has one of the largest marble monuments in the Virginia City Cemeteries. Son George, who used his parent's inheritance to fund the plot, was an attorney in Virginia City. He died young, in July 1914.
