  • Title:  Pioneer Wagons - Wagons and Buggies Collection No 4
  • Description:  Original wagons are displayed in George Thexton's Livery Stable, circa 1875, in Virginia City, Montana. The buckboard is a distinctively American wagon, born on the homesteads of the mountainous regions of the East, then moved West with the pioneers to become a useful vehicle for work and pleasure. Much of the character of this ruggedly constructed wagon is that it is versatile and functional. In the background is a Studebaker sprinkler wagon.
