- Description: Grocery counter including traditional stove and stools. Many of the display goods are in period containers and packaging. Virginia City, the best known of these and the sole survivor, became the Capitol of the Montana Territory in 1865. This "very much alive" ghost town is frozen in time circa 1870. It is a remarkably well preserved and just 20 miles west of Yellowstone National Park. It is the true and original Old West, held within an incredibly rich area of natural beauty, recreation and history.
