- Title: Fisherman's Terminal on Arcata Bay
- Description: On Arcata Bay, these smaller vessels often work as ‘dayboats’, leaving port early in the morning to fish nearby, then returning to Eureka the same day to unload their catch. Larger boats may carry two to four crew, while smaller operations may carry a crew of one to three. The fishing community has long been concerned about maintaining Eureka’s working waterfront infrastructure, both for the functionality of local fisheries and to preserve the area’s maritime heritage, and thus the creation of the Fisherman's Terminal facility on Fairhaven Peninsula. The spire of the Carson Mansion shows in the background.
