- Title: Cutthroat Peak
- Description: Cutthroat Peak is located about two miles west of Washington Pass in the North Cascades. This rugged mountain appears to be a single rock prominence from most vantage points along the North Cascades Highway, but the mountain actually has a north and a south peak. The south peak on the right is the higher of the two at 8,050 feet. According to Summit Post Magazine, the first ascent of Cutthroat Peak was in July 1937. The first winter ascent of the peak did not occur until January of 1977.
