  • Title:  Devil's Punchbowl at Otter Crest Point
  • Description:  Located in Otter Rock Beach south of Depoe Bay, Oregon, the Devil’s Punchbowl is a short short hike off Highway 101. The structure got its name from the swirling churn of the sea as waves fill the rocky bowl during high tide. During low tide, visitors hike down the cliff and on the shoreline to the cavern opening. The formation is thought to have been created by the collapse of the ceiling of a sea cave, which further eroded with rains and action of the tidal waves.
