- Description: South of Polebridge and west of the North Fork of the Flathead, the North Fork road bisects a 10 mile section of lowlands known as Home Ranch Bottoms. Much of the acreage here is broken into homestead properties that have existed for a hundred years. Much of it is in range vegetation and forest, however, some sections are utilized for agricultural purposes. This fall scene makes for a nice photograph, don't you think?
