- Title: Larch on Fish Creek Point
- Description: Along with the aspen and other leafy trees that change colors each fall, the western Larch tree also puts on a colorful show each autumn. In late fall, the western larch’s needles turn yellow and then are shedded in November. Glacier National Park is a great place to see the western larch’s colorful display, as is the Seeley-Swan Valley and into the Flathead. This image also shows, Howe Ridge, which was burned in August, 2018. Longfellow Peak and the lesser Paul Bunyan's Cabin shows prominently in the background.
