- Title: Mount Victoria Above Lake Louise, Banff NP
- Description: Mount Victoria is on the border between British Columbia and Alberta in the Canadian Rockies. The 11,365-foot mountain is located on the western buttress of Abbot Pass and is shrouded by Victoria Glacier above Lake Louise, Alberta. The first successful ascent was made in 1897 by J. Norman Collie, Arthur Michael, Charles Fay, and Peter Sarbach. The trail to the Plain of Six Glaciers is used to hike up the glaciated valley to view the Victoria Glacier. From the Fairmont Chateau hotel, the trail follows the shoreline of Lake Louise before it begins its climb up the rocky moraine in the lower part of the photograph.
