- Title: Ascending the Canyon Bottom
- Description: In July of 2023, we had the pleasure of a second trip to Antelope Canyon just three weeks after the summer solstice! Our midday excursion was only an hour long, due to the Navajo guided tour limitations now in place. While conducting our photography experience, our team managed to dodge, for the most part, the other 100 individuals in the canyon at the time. The canyon light was bright in many areas, which allowed us to capture very different colors and shapes as compared to those of our original visitation in November of 2007. For several of our photographs, we were very lucky to catch the sun's rays as they streamed through the slot canyon crack above. This photograph, however, was in the deepest part of the canyon, just below the entrance staircase. The tour experience during the peak tourist season was very different from our first visit in 2007, when only four other people were in the canyon.
