- Title: Vernal Falls from Clark Point
- Description: Vernal Fall is a 317-foot waterfall is viewed from Clark Point on the John Muir Trail in Yosemite National Park. The Muir trail is commonly used by hikers to reach Half Dome, but first ascends 600 feet above Vernal Falls, before dropping into the Merced River drainage to Nevada Falls. The hike to Half Dome is a 16-mile round trip, while the Nevada Falls trip, the one we opted for, is just over seven miles.
