- Title: Rainbow Bridge in Forbidden Canyon
- Description: Rainbow Bridge can be reached by boat on Lake Powell or by hiking one of two trails around Navajo Mountain on the Navajo Nation, by permit only. The entrance to Forbidding Canyon is located at Buoy 42 on Lake Powell. A one mile float trip up the canyon to the floating docks and restrooms, proceeds a short hike to the base of the bridge. Artwestimage photographers explored the Rainbow Bridge area during the first week February of 2012. It was a cool day and we were the only human beings at the site. Low clouds hung over the canyon, but cleared by midday, providing some beautiful light conditions. Taken with Sony A100, 18-35mm lens, F8, 1/150 sec., ISO100, 35mm.
