- Title: Long House Ruin - Mesa Verde
- Description: Located on the Wetherill Mesa, Long House is the second-largest Mesa Verdean village Excavation took place relatively late in Mesa Verde terms, from 1959 through 1961. Long House was built in approximately 1200; and occupied until 1280. The cliff dwelling features 150 rooms, a kiva, a tower, and a central plaza.Two overhead ledges contain storage space for grain. A very distinct triangular tower is located at one end of the ruin and can clearly be identified in images of Long House.
