Called the Backbone of the World by the Blackfeet Nation, Glacier National Park is a sacred and special place to Native Americans and other Montanan's who view its mountain peaks every day. The park is certainly the biggest draw for traveler's who seek beauty and adventure in western Montana. With over 1 million acres, 762 lakes, 563 streams, 175 mountains and 25 glaciers, as well as plentiful wildlife that make their home among its glacial-carved mountain peaks and valleys. Going-to-the-Sun Road, just 50 miles from my home door-step, rises through the heart of the park to Logan Pass. Along with the North Fork road, which skirts the park's west boundary, these two access points provide me with an almost infinite amount of photography opportunities. I will be displaying them here. Enjoy!
