In March of 2013, an Artwestimage photography team spent four days exploring the shores and forests surrounding Lake Tahoe. Cool temperatures, misty rain, and three-foot snow banks along their 40-mile trek added to the adventure of touring Tahoe's lakeside treasures. Our group often found themselves going miles without seeing other hikers/travelers as they traveled across boulder-strewn beaches and through snow-choked redwood vales. Highlights included excursions to Zephyr Cove, Hidden Beach, Sand Harbor, Kings Beach, the Truckee River Trail, Hurricane Bay, Sugar Pine Point, Bliss State Park, Emerald Bay, and Vikingsholm
