Artwestimage photographers explored Oregon's Central Coast in 2007 and again in 2012. Excursions extended from Florence, west of Eugene, to Astoria, northwest of Portland. Sea cliffs and wooded terraces surround a number of bays along the route. Photographers explored the Heceta Head Lighthouse, Cape Perpetua, Yaquina Bay, Cape Lookout, Haystack Rock, Ecola State Park, Seaside Beach, and the Columbia River outlet to the Pacific Ocean Among the communities visited along the way were Florence, Yachats, Waldport, Newport, Depoe Bay, Lincoln City, Tillamook, Cannon Beach, Seaside and Astoria.
